This is an online “handling event” exploring innovations in the material of ceramics within the context of the Circular Economy.
The conversation will be between Mella Shaw, the curator of Fife Contemporary’s upcoming exhibition REsolve: A Creative Approach to the Circular Economy, and two of the exhibiting artists, Sara Howard and Carol Sinclair. The discussion will be facilitated by use of the Wolfvision visualiser at the Hunterian Museum, University of Glasgow so that close analysis of the material qualities being discussed can be shared with the on-line audience.
Presented in collaboration with Fife Contemporary.
Presented as part of The Dear Green Bothy, a collaborative cultural programme from the University of Glasgow’s College of Arts showcasing creative and critical responses to climate emergency.
