Fun Palaces Library Challenge
GMT
From Benbecula to Culloden, on the weekend of 1-3rd October 2021 communities across Scotland will be celebrating the arts, sciences, heritage, culture and skills already in their communities as part of the Fun Palaces campaign! All the events are free, locally-led, hands-on and encourage both young people and adults to try something new and share their own skills!
So our Fun Palace Challenge 2021 is for Inverclyde residents, young and old to share with us your hopes and dreams for the future in a climate stable world. You can come pick up and plant a blub in your local library and plant your dream as well. You can either plant in one of the custom planters at Greenock, Gourock and Port Glasgow branches, or take it home and share a picture of you planting at home. Please share your pictures tagging @InverclydeLibs #FunPalaces #ClimateBeacon #COP26.
