Generation Rebellion: the power of intergenerational activism. A film screening and workshop with East London women aged 12 - 80+
GMT
This live streamed workshop and film screening from COP26 showcases the need for generations to come together in climate action and discussion, and the power of the arts to do this.
Join the older and younger women from East London who have been working together, as part of Magic Me's Generation Rebellion project to explore how it feels to be an activist and what it means to take action.
Audiences will meet the group via live video link and take part in an activity and discussion facilitated by theatre-maker Sue Mayo and climate activist Maz Morris.
Navigate the everyday feelings and challenges of climate activism and encounter fresh perspectives with a dynamic, intergenerational group of female panellists and creators.
The group hope to offer a dose of encouragement for those wondering what happens when you run out of ideas and an injection of energy for those feeling weighed down.
