HQExplorer Green Time Machine!
GMT
Families can jump in the ’Green Time Machine’ and take part in free activities during the Fife October holidays that explore how people in Dunfermline’s Heritage Quarter lived in a more sustainable way in the past and what lessons we can learn to live in a more sustainable way today and in the future. From growing your own food to encouraging biodiversity and how to make do and mend, the activities are part of the HQExplorer PAST-PORT, a partnership initiative between four of the venues in the Heritage Quarter: Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum, Abbey Church of Dunfermline, Dunfermline Carnegie Library and Galleries and Dunfermline Abbey Nave & Palace. Families can pick up a PAST-PORT from any of the four venues and can earn a special certificate for completing all four activities.
